In 1978, our Historical Society decided more room was needed to house machinery and yesteryear tools. As a result, a 60x150-foot steel building was erected in 1979.
An outstanding collection of early machinery occupies two-thirds of this building. Included are an 1800 wheat, oats, and barley reaper, an 1882 Milwaukee small-grain binder 5½-foot cut, an 1880 corn planter, an 1890 walking cultivator, and many more.
